- This is an outlet for me to offer my opinions and analysis. I will continue to write on examiner.com as a reporter keeping my opinions to myself and just report on the sport without bias. I’m a former amateur boxer for the US Air Force National Team out of McConnell AFB, I have been involved with local boxing in Wichita since 1997. I trained with Pete Diaz over at the old Sailor's gym on Osage from 1997-2002, returned to train with him before his passing away in 2008.
